El único álbum de Young Marble Giants, Colossal Youth, celebra su 40º aniversario y para celebrarlo, el trío de Cardiff publica vía Domino una edición especial que incluye el álbum original, así como canciones de Salad Days, Is The War Over, el sencillo "Final Day" y su EP Testcard, además de un DVD en directo de su último show en la sala Hurray de Nueva York en 1980.
 
Formados por el guitarrista y compositor Stuart Moxham, su hermano y bajista Philip y la cantante Alison Statton, YMG emergió del panorama punk y post-punk con un estilo sin igual. Grabado en cinco días, Colossal Youth pasó a influir en legiones enteras desde Sheffield hasta Seattle. Durante las pasadas décadas han sido una referencia obligada y citada por fans como Kurt Cobain, Courtney Love, Belle & Sebastian, David Byrne, Sonic Youth o The Magnetic Fields.
