A far-out collection of rare mid-‘60s garage and folk 45 cuts by groups that did their darndest to emulate their hero, the Beatnik Bard himself, Bob Dylan. If you dig Mouse and the Traps' “Public Execution,” the Trashmen’s “Same Lines”,” or David Blue’s  records then you’ll flip for the sounds you’re gonna hear here!

It's Zimmerman's World features all kinds of obscure tracks by Terry and the Trip-Outs, The Toads, Billy Easley and the Gorillamen, the Changin’ Times, the Love Society, and many more. There are 18 songs altogether. From the liner notes...The mercurial ascent of Bob Dylan’s nasally-delivered electric-poetry from coffeehouse background noise to the voice of a Now generation grabbed a lot of folks by surprise at first.

But like a shot heard round the world, it winged Byrds and Turtles alike, and pretty soon everybody wanted to go huntin’! Seemed like there was easy money to be made by monotoning paragraph-long verses over single chord strumming. For hungry musicians, the end of the rainbow now had a concrete address, streetside in the Village on what Gene Sculatti once referred to as “Simulation Row.”
