Contiene "Just Enough and Too Much", "As Surely as I Stand Here" y "The Soul of a Child" a.o. Bonito hecho divertido: "Ebony Jam" y "Drop It in the Slot" fueron muestreados en el álbum Paul's Boutique de 1989 de Beastie Boy.

In the Slot was released in 1975 and marked the debut of new vocalist Hubert Tubbs. David Garibaldi returned to the drummer's throne after being absent from the previous album Urban Renewal. It contains "Just Enough and Too Much”, "As Surely as I Stand Here" and the "The Soul of a Child" a.o. Nice fun fact: "Ebony Jam" and "Drop It in the Slot" were sampled on the Beastie Boys' 1989 album Paul's Boutique.
