Esta es la versión original de lo que debería haber sido el primer disco de los Smihts titulado "The Hand That Rocks The Cradle".
Fué producido por el guitarrista de los Teardrop Explodes, Troy Tate.
Los Smiths no quedaron convencidos con la producción y volvieron a grabar el disco con John Porter como productor.

Recorded with producer Troy Tate., former Teardrop Explodes guitarritst.
The album ended up being scrapped.
The Smiths were unhappy with the production and re-recorded the album, but with John Porter as producer.
