It's GIANT ROBOTS-time again!
Seven years after their incredible last album 'Too Young To Know Better ... Too Hard To Care' these fantastic 60's Garage Rock-boys and girls finally put an end to our longing and release their brand-new third album 'Delightfully Refreshing'.
Recorded at the famous Toe Rag Studio in London with vintage equipment, this band from Lausanne, Switzerland delivers an album with an authentic sound that takes you right back to the 60's. Farfisa organ, fuzzy guitars, a rockin' beat and some great songwriting - all finalised with the cool vocals of singer Michel and the backing vocals of guitarist Guy and the charming bass-player Julia.
This album is 60's Garage Beat with a French touch a la JACQUES DUTRONC; exactly right to make you dance and create a wild 60's Garage-party with! It includes two refreshing covers of 'Something Else Kind Of Woman' by the Torquays and the Garage-Punk-song 'You're Gonna Break My Heart' originally played by Abstract Sound, both focussing on the groovy Farfisa organ.
Also contained is a song sung in French, 'C'est Pas Vrai' which adds to the French-YeYe sound. This band has energy, style and elegance. THE GIANT ROBOTS' new album 'Delightfully Refreshing' is a must-have for all lovers of good 60's Garage-Beat!
