El sello Light Control recopila algunas grabaciones históricas en vivo de Pink Floyd que datan de 1969 en una caja de 200 copias numeradas, recuperadas de las mejores fuentes disponibles y remasterizadas/mejoradas en sonido.
El primer CD reproduce la actuación del 9 de agosto de ese año en el Paradiso de Ámsterdam (casi íntegramente instrumental, debido a un fallo de micrófono ocurrido poco después del inicio) más los ensayos del espectáculo del 14 de abril en el Royal Festival Hall de Londres; el segundo contiene el concierto del 5 de mayo en la Universidad de Southampton y el tercero el espectáculo (que comenzó tarde en la noche) el 8 de agosto en el Jazz & Blues Festival en el hipódromo de Plumpton.
Lo más destacado, sin embargo, lo representa la espectacular y teatral actuación en el Royal Albert Hall de Londres el 26 de junio, última fecha de la gira británica titulada "The Final Lunacy" y durante la cual el cuarteto interpretó las suites "The Man" y "The Journey", durante este último la acompañaron en el escenario la sección de viento de la Royal Philharmonic y los coristas del Ealing Central Amateur Choir dirigidos por el ingeniero de sonido y productor de EMI Norman Smith.

The Light Control label collects some historic Pink Floyd live recordings dating back to 1969 in an box set of 200 numbered copies, recovered from the best available sources and remastered/upgraded in sound.
The first CD reproduces the performance on August 9 of that year at the Paradiso in Amsterdam (almost entirely instrumental, due to a microphone failure that occurred shortly after the start) plus the rehearsals for the show on April 14 at the Royal Festival Hall in Amsterdam. London; the second documents the May 5 concert at Southampton University and the third the show (which started late at night) on August 8 at the Jazz & Blues Festival at Plumpton Racecourse.
The highlight, however, is represented by the spectacular and theatrical performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London on June 26, the last date of the British tour entitled "The Final Lunacy" and during which the quartet performed the suites "The Man " and "The Journey": during the latter she was accompanied on stage by the wind section of the Royal Philharmonic and the choristers of the Ealing Central Amateur Choir led by sound engineer and EMI producer Norman Smith.
