“Super Pop 70” reproduce el famoso concierto ofrecido por Led Zeppelin en el Casino de Montreux el 7 de marzo de 1970. Una mezcla de grabaciones soundboard y audience remasterizadas permite volver a escuchar íntegramente la actuación, abierta con la versión de “We’re Gonna Groove” de Ben E. King y centrada en los temas de los dos primeros álbumes del cuarteto inglés, con un adelanto del tercero (“Since I’ve Been Loving You” no se publicaría hasta el mes de octubre siguiente) y la interpretación del instrumental “White Summer” de The Yardbirds ejecutado por Jimmy Page en medley con “Black Mountain Side”; John Bonham realiza su habitual solo en “Moby Dick”, mientras que John Paul Jones introduce al órgano “Thank You”.

“Super Pop 70” box set features the famous concert performed by Led Zeppelin at the Montreux Casino on March 7, 1970. A mix of remastered soundboard and audience recordings allows the full performance to be heard, opening with a cover of Ben E. King’s “We’re Gonna Groove” and focusing on material from the English quartet’s first two albums, with a preview of the third (“Since I’ve Been Loving You” would not be released until the following October) and a rendition of The Yardbirds’ instrumental “White Summer” performed by Jimmy Page in a medley with “Black Mountain Side”; John Bonham delivers his customary drum solo on “Moby Dick”, while John Paul Jones introduces “Thank You” on organ.
