The complete original LP The Immortal Django Reinhardt (Reprise Records R-6075), which included recordings from a series of 1947 small group dates at the Radio Diffusion Française studios in Paris. On some tracks, Django is reunited with his longtime companion violinist Stéphane Grappelli and his brother Joseph Reinhardt, while on others he shares the frontline with clarinetist Hubert Rostaing.
Six additional tracks from the Grapelli dates, as well as four other 1947 tracks with clarinet players have been included here as a bonus, among them readings of the classics 'Minor Swing' and 'Nuages'.
