Los Twentieth Century Zoo salieron del mismo desierto de Arizona del que surgieron bandas como Phil and the Frantics, Kennelmus, o el grupo de Alice Cooper, the Spiders. Riffs de fuzz con sustain y hammond, al estilo de los Fever Tree, pero un poco más blues-rock duro.

The band called Twentieth Century Zoo hailed from the same Arizona desert land that spawned Phil and the Frantics, Kennelmus, and Alice Cooper's original band, the Spiders. Featuring fuzz-sustain riffs and heavy organ, somewhat in the manner of Fever Tree. At times there was also a hard blues-rock.
