SCIENTIST tenía sólo 20 años cuando, trabajando con su colega productor «Junjo» Lawes, se le ocurrió esta maravilla de 1980, una fiesta sinuosa con efectos especiales parecidos a los de los dibujos animados (muchos bongs y boings como cacerolas golpeándose entre sí, pitidos y chillidos que suenan como un juego de Pac-Man). Todos los títulos de las «canciones» son referencias al boxeo (un motivo que Scientist obviamente estaba explotando al máximo), y todos son grandes fragmentos individuales de sonido dub que se cohesionan en un todo significativo. «Este es un sonido juvenil que viene a aplastarte».

Scientist was only 20 years old when, working with fellow producer “Junjo” Lawes, he came up with this 1980 stunner, a sinuous groove party with cartoonlike special effects (a lot of bongs and boings like pans hitting one another, blips and squeals that sound like a Pac-Man game). All the “song” titles are references to boxing (a motif that Scientist was obviously mining for all it was worth), and all are great individual bits of dub sound that cohere into a meaningful whole. As it says on the jacket, “This ya a youthful sound fe come mash y’down.”
