Emerging from the Barcelona underground scene, Magma Malone is the psychedelic instrumental project of the experimental composer and illustrator Enric Chalaux (Stay, Aleppo Pine) With the magic collaboration of his friend Arnau Obiols on drums (Television Personalities, Shinkiro) they recorded their first Ep Le Ciel Interdit, edited by the label Siete Señoritas Gritando in October 2013, offers a reality check between six trips beyond the stratosphere.
Cosmic music based in hypnotic hammond organ, multi-rhythmic drums, sonic freak-outs drenched in echo and oscillation with theremins and sitars.
Now Magma Malone returns with the next single released in vinyl in 2018 by the new independent label La Máquina Infernal.
This hidden gem contains on the A-side a monster sitar funk instrumental Les Vampires Bronzées extracted from le Ciel Interdit Ep. On the B-side The United States Of Mind, an acidrock number full of savage fuzz, whawhas and lysergic harmonies.
